Tacoma Sunrise Rotary: Statement on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)

Tacoma Sunrise Rotary strives to build a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change. We value diversity and celebrate the contributions of people of all backgrounds, regardless of their age, ethnicity, race, color, abilities, religion, socioeconomic status, culture, sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity.
We'll get you CONNECTED!
The Tacoma Sunrise Rotary Club is a great way for you to really CONNECT with the Tacoma-Pierce County community.

We have been helping our members CONNECT with our community since our Club (#88) was started in 1981.

Today our Club has more than 40 members from all walks of life, who bring their wide range of skills, passions and abilities to help make a difference in our community and in our world.

If you want to get more involved in the Tacoma-Pierce County community, please consider joining Tacoma Sunrise Rotary.

Our Club will help you:

  • CONNECT with local business and community leaders who are in our Club.

  • CONNECT with leaders in our community who are making a difference (and speaking at our Club every week).

  • CONNECT with great causes in our community. Our Club works to support the Palmer Scholars Program, the Emergency Food Network and much more.

Right now, due to COVID-19, we are holding our weekly meetings via Zoom instead of in person.

Our club members are becoming more adept at using new technologies as we work hard to CONNECT with each other during these challenging times.

We are working to make sure our members stay safe and healthy—and hope you are as well.

We look forward to a time in the future when we can safely CONNECT again—in person—and have a great breakfast with bacon and coffee!
